Frequently Asked Questions

You Got Me. I Got You.

FAVA is a community-based app that helps you request and fulfill everyday favors—like rides, errands, pickups, dorm help, or extra hands—within trusted groups such as parents, schools, neighbors, coworkers, teams, and student communities.
It’s the easiest way to connect with people you already know and trust.

Yes, FAVA is built around trusted circles, not strangers.
Safety features include:

  • Private and invite-only groups
  • Admin approval for new members
  • Customizable profiles per group (“Sally’s Mom,” “Room 204 Parent,” etc.)
  • Optional reviews for transparency
  • Clear reporting tools for inappropriate activity

Your data and requests are never public.

FAVA uses Stripe Connect, an industry-standard payment system used by companies like Lyft and DoorDash.

Here’s how payment works:

  1. The requester posts a favor with a set price.
  2. A helper accepts and completes the favor.
  3. The requester pays securely through the app using card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
  4. Stripe transfers the payment directly to the helper’s bank account.
  5. FAVA may include a small platform fee to support the app.

FAVA never stores or directly handles your money—Stripe processes everything securely.
