This Earner Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to any FAVA User (“Earner”) who posts, accepts, or completes favors, errands, tasks, rides, or other offers of assistance (“Services”) for compensation on the FAVA platform (“Platform”).

By completing Stripe onboarding, offering a service, or accepting any request that results in compensation, you agree to this Agreement in addition to FAVA’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

By using the Platform as an Earner, you acknowledge:

• You are not an employee, agent, joint-venturer, or partner of FAVA.
• You act as an independent contractor providing services directly to another User.
• You decide when, where, and how you complete tasks.
• You supply your own tools, equipment, transportation, and judgment.
• You are solely responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and legal compliance.

Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment relationship.

FAVA:

• does not train or supervise you
• does not set your schedule
• does not control your rate
• does not monitor your performance
• does not guarantee work or compensation
• does not provide benefits, insurance, or reimbursements

You and the User requesting the favor are the only parties to the arrangement.

FAVA uses Stripe Connect to facilitate payments and payouts.

• You must complete Stripe onboarding to receive payouts.
• You authorize Stripe to verify your identity and bank details.
• FAVA does not collect, store, or access your payment or banking information.

When a payer pays for a request:

1. The payer pays the full request amount.
2. Stripe deducts its standard processing fee.
3. FAVA deducts a platform fee of 10% (capped at $5).
4. You receive the remainder as your payout.

Example:
Request price: $20
Stripe fees: $0.88
FAVA fee (platform fee): $2.00
Your payout: $17.12

This structure ensures the payer pays the exact price they expect, and platform fees are deducted from your payout rather than added to the payer.

You agree to:

• Perform services safely and responsibly
• Arrive on time if the request requires timing
• Accurately mark tasks as “Completed” only when finished
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws
• Avoid restricted or unsafe activities (see “Prohibited Requests”)
• Communicate clearly with Users
• Resolve any disputes directly with the User

Failure to uphold these standards may result in account suspension or removal.

You acknowledge and agree:

• FAVA does not conduct background checks
• FAVA does not verify the identity, safety, or trustworthiness of other Users
• You perform services at your own risk

You must independently evaluate the suitability and safety of any User or request before accepting.

You must comply with FAVA’s Prohibited Requests List, which includes:

• illegal or harmful activities
• firearms or dangerous items
• medical procedures
• controlled substances
• intimate/sexual services
• unattended childcare or eldercare
• large cash transport
• high-risk transportation
• anything requiring special licensing

You are responsible for knowing and complying with local laws.

As an independent contractor:

• You are responsible for reporting your income
• You must pay any required federal, state, or local taxes
• Stripe will issue tax documents (such as 1099-K) if legally required
• FAVA cannot and does not provide tax advice

FAVA does not guarantee:

• that you will receive requests
• that you will receive fair compensation
• that you will earn a minimum income
• that Users will pay for requests until they mark as completed

Work volume depends on community and User activity.

If a dispute arises about:

• quality of service
• timeliness
• communication
• payment
• cancellations

You agree that:

• FAVA is not a mediator
• FAVA will not issue refunds
• FAVA is not responsible for losses, damages, or disagreements

Disputes must be resolved privately between the parties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• You assume all risk involved in providing services
• FAVA is not liable for injury, loss, property damage, miscommunication, nonpayment, or misconduct of other Users
• FAVA’s total liability, if any, is limited to $100

FAVA may suspend or terminate your Earner privileges for:

• unsafe conduct
• abusive or harmful behavior
• prohibited activities
• fraudulent or suspicious transactions
• repeated complaints from Users

You may stop offering services at any time.

By:

• completing Stripe Connect onboarding
• posting an “Offer Service”
• accepting a compensated request
